All About Hedy Lamarr


Hedy Lamarr was a famous actress who was also an incredible inventor, she was born Novemeber 9, 1914 in Austria and died January 19, 2000 to heart disease.
Hedy Lamarr designed the "Secret Communications System" during World War II, it was a means of changing radio frequencies to keep enemies from receiving
coded messages. In fact, these same designs were repurposed into WiFi which is what computers use connect to the World Wide Web.
